These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of boston-voip.com (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who We Are
Boston VoIP is an independent technology advisor headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, serving businesses throughout Greater Boston. Through the Site we provide information about VoIP, cloud PBX, UCaaS, contact center, business internet, and related technology services, and a way to contact us.
2. Informational Purpose
The Site is provided for general information. Content on the Site — guides, pricing ranges, comparisons, and blog posts — is general in nature, is not an offer to sell, and is not a recommendation tailored to your situation. Technology advisory engagements are formed only through a signed agreement with us, not through use of the Site.
3. Advisory Engagements
If you become a client, our sourcing and advisory services are governed by the Technology Advisory & Referral Disclosure Agreement you execute with us (summarized in our Disclosure). These Terms do not modify that agreement; if there is a conflict regarding your engagement, the executed agreement controls.
4. Third-Party Providers
References on the Site to carriers and technology providers are informational only and are not endorsements. Boston VoIP is not an agent, partner, or guarantor of any provider.
If you contract with a provider, that contract is between you and the provider under the provider's own terms. Boston VoIP is not responsible for any provider's products, services, pricing, security, or support.
5. Compensation
Providers in our network pay Boston VoIP referral fees and recurring commissions when clients sign. See our Disclosure for the full explanation.
6. No Professional Advice
Content on the Site is not legal, financial, accounting, or regulatory-compliance advice, including compliance matters such as HIPAA or SEC obligations. Consult qualified professionals for advice on your specific circumstances.
7. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content — text, graphics, logos, and layout — are owned by Boston VoIP or its licensors and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our prior written consent.
Provider names and trademarks referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners. Reference to a provider does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by that provider.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and availability. We do not warrant that Site content is complete, current, or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boston VoIP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site — including lost profits, business interruption, or data issues.
Our aggregate liability under any legal theory is limited to the lesser of five hundred dollars ($500.00) or the compensation we received and retained in connection with your provider relationships during the three months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Boston VoIP and its personnel from claims, damages, and losses arising from your use of the Site, your reliance on Site content, or agreements you enter into with third-party providers.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The state and federal courts located in Massachusetts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
